Simone Elise Muschett, LMSW ( affectionately known as " The Ultimate Social Worker" or "The USW") is passionate about serving, raising and developing at-risk youth into resilient ones; and, coaches adults through their healing. Her drive began in high school after experiencing a lack of care from surrounding adults as she fought through her own personal crises. Today Simone holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Masters of Arts in Teaching and a Masters in Social Work. Currently, Simone is living and walking in her purpose with over 12 years employed as an Educator then a School Social Worker for NYC Public Schools, and the Founder & CEO of Resilient Young Minds Inc. Simone enjoys learning, growing and helping others grow into their best selves. This is evident in her self-published books “Diary of A 1st Year Teacher” and “ Cultivating A Resilient Mind”. Also, through her podcast “The R Stories” she created a safe community where successful guests can share the trauma stories that have impacted them in order to connect and inspire others to overcome their own difficult circumstances. 

Trauma storytelling is a niche technique that Simone uses to foster vulnerability and a sense of belonging for youth, families and adults. For this reason; Simone is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) to ensure that Resilient Young Minds is an evidence based program and assess the qualities of effective Leadership in Social Work in her most recently published book " The Ultimate Social Worker's Diary" with Trilogy Publishing. Simone is committed to teaching innovative, trauma informed tools for our communities to thrive. As Simone continues to develop herself and career, she has learned that walking in your purpose can be challenging, but fulfilling when you are following the will of God.
